My name is David Fink, and I am a User Experience (UX) Engineer with a passion for creating engaging and impactful experiences.
I started dabbling with creative projects at an early age. I started to learn to code at 11, picked up design at 16, and always tried to think outside the box. As time passed, my dabbling become more formal, and through my studies at Mount St. Joseph University and experiences working with clients, it became clear that I wanted to dedicate my career to creative problem-solving. This is where the concept of being the “Dark Roast Creative” came from (along with my reputation for always having a mug of dark roast coffee by my side).
I have three years of experience as a technology consultant, through which I’ve had the opportunity to wear a variety of hats and see projects from many different perspectives. In addition, I’ve had the chance to see the impact that a well-built experience can have on the success of concepts, projects, and businesses overall.
My early clients include Kennedy Heights Arts Center, Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce, and M. Bohlke Veneer Corp. Today, I work with clients ranging from small businesses and entrepreneurs to industry leaders. I like to tackle complex problems which can’t be solved by traditional methods and innovate when possible. I also love to learn new things, and find ways to apply what I’ve learned to my work.
